What is a design day?
A design day is a full work day (7 hours) dedicated to working on a project of your choice: website design or brand design.

HOW DOES THIS DIFFER FROM FULL DESIGN PROJECTS?
Unlike full design projects, the timeline has been significantly condensed from several weeks (or months!) down to a single work day. Don’t scoff though… we can still achieve a lot in one day. You can go from embarrassing visual assets to having a professionally designed brand suite or website that you’re proud to show off.

How do I know if a design day is right for me?

How do I know if design days aren't the right fit for me?
Although we can get a lot done in a day, I don’t recommend design days for clients who need: large or complex websites, ecommerce sites, custom coding, packaging design, an extensive brand suite, or long-established business owners who need a full strategy study.

What is Showit?
Showit is a web design and hosting platform where you can create a completely custom and responsive website without any code.

Can I keep my old website host?
No. I only design and build websites on Showit, so you will need to switch to Showit and maintain an active subscription.

What if I need a logo and a website?
If you need both branding and a website, you will need to book two design day projects with me.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO PREP FOR MY DESIGN INTENSIVE?
Before our project direction call, you’ll need to fill out your project questionnaire and send over any necessary assets. If we’re working on your website, for example, I’ll need your copywriting document, brand assets, photos, etc. These assets must be ready two weeks before your Intensive, or you risk losing your project date.

HOW WILL WE COMMUNICATE?
We’ll collaborate via email prior to your design day and over Slack and Zoom during your scheduled project date. You’ll need to plan to have open availability during your scheduled design day so there aren’t any lags in our workflow for the day.

HOW DO I BOOK MY DESIGN day?
Click on the green banner at the bottom of the screen that says “I’m ready to book my design day” and you’ll be taken to the application form where you can reserve your day, pay your deposit, and sign your contract.

What time zone are you in?
PST or CET depending on the time of year. The calendar where you book your project date will have my updated timezone and availability, so you can pick a time slot that works for you.

How much does a design day cost?
A design day costs $2500.00 USD. A non-refundable 50% deposit is due upon booking, and the remaining balance is due three (3) days before your scheduled design day. All prices are in USD. If you select the Website Design Day option, you domain registration fees and Showit subscription fee are NOT included in this price. You will need to purchase a domain and subscribe to a Showit plan on your own.

Do you offer payment plans?
The design day payment is split into two installments. The first is a non-refundable 50% deposit that is due at the time of booking, and the second installment is due three days prior to your scheduled project day.
